The Agreement

Process
Once the design invoice is approved, a 50% deposit is required.  The construction of your dress begins once the deposit is received. The Design Invoice will list all elements of the garment commissioned to construct. Both parties will sign the invoice.
 
During your garment construction, we make available to you ‘Progress Pictures’; so you can see the progress of your garment.
-Progress Pictures can be seen either by email, Instagram, or Skype.
-It’s during the ‘Progress Pictures’, that details can be change, added, deleted within reason with ‘no charge’. Major changes will require an additional charge.
 
‘Last Call Pictures’ are sent before the garment lining is sewn in. At that time any last minute changes can be made either with or without additional charges. Once the lining is sewn in “no” additional changes can be made.
 
Once the ‘Final Pictures” are sent, the remaining balance (final payment)   is due.
 
 
Time Frame
Allow 12 -16 weeks’ construction time depending on details of the garments.  This does not include shipping time.
 
Rush orders are accepted for an additionally fee. Depending on the requested date, the rush fee can range from an additional $250 - $800.
 
Sizing & Fitting
I understand that the CD garment is custom-made to my measurements, therefore once I review my measurements with the CD consultant, it is my responsibility to maintain those measurements. Any measurement changes within 2 inches or more, CD can charge an additional fee up to $600.
 
 
Undergarments
I will specify to CD what type of undergarments I would like to wear. CD will do their best to accommodate my request but depending on the design, other undergarments may be required.
 
 
Fabrics Used
CD use silk fabrics as the main fabric, therefore I understand that silk being a natural fiber, can be easily marked, pulled and often inconsistent in color and weave. And dye lot variations can happen, it is very rare.
 
 
Payments
50% deposit is required once the Design Invoice is signed. Payments can be made by credit card and Paypal.
 
Before the final payment is sent, I and CD will do a final review of the garment. I understand that once the final payment is received, my garment will be shipped.
 
 
Refunds & Change of mind
 I understand that because the CD garment is customized to my measures and the lining is sewn in the garment, there will be no refund. CD will ship the garment standard mail.  If the lining is not sewn in, CD will retain the garment plus the deposit.
 
I understand that before the lining is sewn in the garment, I can make changes and additional charges may be added.
 
If there is an error on CD part, we will correct the item or issue. 
 
  
 
Postage and Import Tax Charges
I understand that there will be a shipping fee for shipping my dress to me. This fee covers the freight charge plus packaging and handling.
 
If shipping a wedding dress overseas I understand that there may be additional import tax fees once it arrives in my country. I understand that this charge in not included in the shipping fee paid to CD and will need to be paid to the customs office in order to receive my dress, otherwise the garment will be sent back to CD. The fees are determined by the customs office and CD is not responsible for the payment of this import tax.
